SEM Specialist

This is your shot to break into the Digital Advertising world. We’re a fast-paced, fun-loving digital-first, full-service advertising agency looking for an insanely energetic, detail-oriented, fast-learning sponge to work with our digital marketing team.

Task #1… SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Some experience is great, but we’ll teach you the right way to do it so you can grow into other aspects of our digital marketing machine including Social Media and Paid Search strategies.

This is a full-time, in-house position. We love to collaborate in our cool (but safe) Annapolis headquarters. (Check out our FB/IG pages to see how cool).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple website SEO content strategies
  • Incorporate SEO best practices into all marketing to improve organic rankings, traffic, and goal conversions
  • Perform keyword research, competitive analysis, technical SEO, etc. to identify relevant trends and patterns to inform on-site & off-site development
  • Monitor day-to-day keyword trends and make recommendations for strategic keyword modifications
  • Manage the process of on-site, off-site, link building, and content to enhance client’s SEO
  • Review and provide feedback on web analytics and SEO reports 
  • Engage in marketing creative review processes to assess SEO impact and apply best practices
  • Full stack SEO with deep understanding of the content side as well as technical server-side, sitemaps, server response codes, and rewrites
  • Work closely with the Product and the Web Development teams to deliver large scale SEO projects
  • Analyze website user experience and provide recommended improvements
  • Run analysis and present data to continuously improve traffic and conversion
  • Combine platform recommendations, technical SEO approach and best practices to co-develop SEO strategy
  • Develop KPI’s across key global regions to measure success

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Strong research, writing, and editorial skills, with the ability to edit and rewrite quickly
  • Above average organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Comfortable with technical SEO and web code best practices a plus
  • Proven analytical mindset and ability to think creatively and solve problems quickly
  • Passion for learning new things and becoming an expert on various topics
  • Ability to build recommendations and insights from the data available
  • Experienced working with a variety of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Botify, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, MOZ and others a plus
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms (ie. WordPress) is a plus
